China Visa Information

What documents will be required?

I   for German citizens to apply travel or business visa
1,   valid national passport with at least 6 months validity;
2,   one passport photograph;
3,   fully completed application form with required declaration and signature;
4,   to apply for a visa to visit relatives and friends must provide the following documents:
1) Copy of two-way flight tickets;
2) invitation from Chinese relatives or friends and the copy from their valid ID card or passport ;
5,  the applicant for a self-travel visa must provide air tickets and hotel reservation;
6,  the applicant for Chinese business visa must provide Chinese invitation letter or    the invitation letter from the authorized company or organization;
7,  the application for one year multiple-entry visa must provide invitations from the      authorized company or organization;

8,  the applicant with new passport must provide the copy from the old passport;
9,  additional for children, need all the materials as adults , but also need a copy of birth certificate and a copy of one of parent's  passport
  

II  non-German passport holders to apply travel or business visa
1,  with at least six months German stay permit;
2,  one passport photograph;
3,  fully completed application form with required declaration (visa application forms A and B) signature;
4,  a copy of proof of residence in Germany;( other requirment see German passport holders) 

III  special circumstances
1,  applying for two and more visa must have more than two consecutive blank visa pages
2,  applying for six months or one year multiple entry visas must provide an invitation from China ,and must have had such visa records before. If this visa records is not in this present passport, must provide a copy.

4, additional expedited fee (since 1 st.January 2012, Consulate does not take urgent in one-day visa anymore.)

4.a.	Next-day picking up(inc. registered mail fee )	30,- Euro
4.b.	Germany express urgent fee(DHL Express arrived on the next day)	15,- Euro

1,  we would like suggest you, at first you should call or email us to get a confirm that we are waiting for your passport ,then send us your passport by registered mail or express to the following address:

2,  the above prices included passport visa fees and registered mail for return);for extra express mail please refer to 4.b.
3,  about time required to issue visa:
Consulate requires:
passport must be sent to the Consulate on working day before 11:30 a.m;
ordinary visa can be issued in 4 workdays and for the urgent visa can be picked up on the following workday;

Please calculate the time and try to leave enough days, normally 15 days advanced is good. EMS guarantees to arrive on the next day.
Please take attention about the holidays of Chinese Consulate in Frankfurt.
